Hi everyone! Today I’ve got the entire Picture Polish Bijou Holo Collection to show you! For Easter, instead of doing cutesy nails like I originally planned, I decided to go a different route and created a more spring-like and floral themed nail art that is appropriate for Easter (think of all the gorgeous flowers just starting to bloom) and all through the Spring season. Of course, I used all 6 polishes from the Bijou collection. Let’s take a look—you’re warned that this post is filled with pictures 🙂
I really can’t tell you how happy I am to be seeing all the flowers in bloom! So, I was inspired to create my first floral nail art! It’s quite simple to do but at the same time, I really liked the final product. They remind me of wild flowers that I pick along the road when I was a little girl ♥
The polish shades match the colors of the flower perfectly!
And here are the swatches…
Scarlett is my favorite of the collection. You probably know how much I love O’Hara (previous swatch and nail art here), so when I found out Picture Polish was coming out with a twin called Scarlett, I knew I had to have it regardless of the color! Well, this gorgeous red holo met all of my expectations!
Perfect application, 2 coats.
Midnite Meteor is another favorite of mine from this collection. I just can’t seem to get enough blues, ever!
This is another 2 coater. Look at the holographic sparkles! It’s made in collaboration with DoBeauting, so make sure you check out her story and swatches!
Badass is an awesome black holo made in collaboration with SassyShelly. 2 coats, ’nuff said.
Pirouette is a gorgeous baby pink holo, it’s so soft and elegant. The perfect alternative to a nude polish that’s office appropriate and still sparkle-tastic!
This pink will complement just about all skin tones. It’s made in collaboration with the sweet Samantha from Tenshi No Hana, be sure to check out her beautiful swatches and background story.
Hussy is a purple holographic. I really love the base color of this shade. I created another nail art using this and a few other purples that I will show you soon 😉
This is certainly not fussy with its smooth 2 coat formula. It’s created in collaboration with the Holographic Hussy, who is quite a connaisseur when it comes to holographic polishes.
Tail Feather is the brightest of the collection and such a fun near neon green holo!
The first coat went on a bit thin for me, but it still reached opacity in 2 coats. Check out KaylaShevvon, whose blog I’ve been reading for quite a while now! This is the perfect shade to represent her love of peacocks!
Finally, my usual light box shot of the nail art—what do you think? Like my first attempt at floral nail art?
I had so much fun creating this. It’s not the most elaborate or difficult nail art I’ve done, but it certainly had me fall in love with painting flowers. So, I think you’ll be seeing more of this theme in the future 😉 Also, since I ran out of my trusted bottle of HK Girl Glisten & Glow, I finally opened my bottle of Glossy Glam. Although it’s not quite as fast drying on my nails, it worked wonderfully in protecting my nail art without any streaking! Those of you who are searching for top coats should look into this if you haven’t tried yet.
Enjoy your weekend!

Your flowers are beautiful! They are so delicate and unique. I keep trying to figure out a favorite, but I can’t decide! Gorgeous swatches too, as usual.
